The KRG group has over 20 years of experience in providing valuable environmental services to its clients. The surging demand for innovative methods and systems for water conservation to recharge the depleting aquifers of water extraction structures saw the launching of KRG India in the year 2001. The company has donned expertise by handling different types of rainwater harvesting methods as it consists of a group of professionals who are engaged in studying and implementing ground water developments, Artificial Recharge Structures, based on the system and techniques of rainwater harvesting.

The Team comprises experts from various disciplines like Geology, Hydrogeology, Remote sensing, Ground water modeling etc., who can undertake Technical Feasibility Study on rainwater harvesting systems and techniques and implement the recommendations to find a lasting solution for the existing problems of water scarcity for Drinking, Irrigation and environmental development.
 
 
Today we are one of the foremost and prestigious organizations working on water and environment in India, we are pioneer and eye-opener in the field of rainwater harvesting. We have studied and successfully executed various projects on rainwater harvesting and environment for different state governments and same for the corporate like TATA, ITC, PEPSI, and COCA COLA in India.
We are also into developing and promoting of innovative projects of various kind, few of them being Traffic and Water Logging solutions in Mumbai, Banks Hospital, Ultra club, Water harvesting at National Highways, River linking project for Porbandar district etc. In regard to our work we have been awarded the prestigious Indira Gandhi Priyadarshani Award in November 2001 by the Government of India. We are member of the World Water Forum (WWF) and were the convener of WWF 2003 Osaka, Japan.

Ever since his childhood Mr. Diwakar Shetty has been nature lover and is fond of bringing in ideas to protect the nature from unwanted developments. His love to nature brought him into the field of environmental services and he believes that the balance of five elements of nature Earth, Sky, Water, Air and Fire is of utmost importance to keep our planet safe and livable. 
 
Mr. Shetty has been deeply involved as the researcher in the development of water management with Mr. K.R. Gopinath since 1996 at national and international level. Working with Mr. K.R. Gopinath, he came out with the vision of reaching out to the larger section and established his own company, KRG India Research Centre for Rainwater Harvesting and Environment to solve the universal problem of water crises.
 
Mr. Shetty is been experimenting, studying and has come up with many innovative, scientific and low cost methods to harvest rainwater. He is having dynamic personality who delivers lectures and talks at various academic institutions and corporate sectors to propagate and spread awareness on latest development in water sector. He has also presented papers at various international summits and seminars on water management. 
 
After years of working on water he wonders why no one has come up with an idea to bring in text book for students to learn the subject of rainwater harvesting. There are manuals and guides on this subject but no single proper course book for students. Keeping this in mind he decided to write an easy and simple book covering all the aspects of rainwater harvesting. This book is a result of his vision to educate students on importance of rainwater harvesting.

The KRG group has over 16 years of experience in providing valuable environmental services throughout the world.
